In the world of self-driving cars, there is a lot of information being collected from sensors. However, many car companies can only use a small amount of this data because it's difficult to understand. SiaSearch helps to extract and utilize sensor data as efficiently as possible.

In September 2025, Nostos Genomics was acquired by Limbus, the company behind the innovative varvis® software for genomic data analysis.
Original MVP ( 2021)
Scope & My Role
I was the first and solo designer on this project, creating the UX and UI for the product entirely from the ground up. Together with the product team, we've integrated new features into the freshly designed MVP while continuously gathering feedback from users and adjusting the design to meet user needs and business objectives.The collaborative goal was to design an intuitive and user-friendly MVP that enables easy access and interaction with self-driving car data collected by sensors.
How we’ve built SiaSearch
[ step 1 ]
Research & Exploration
In this stage, I conducted a research on the self-driving car industry and the challenges faced by car companies in utilizing sensor data. I also explored existing solutions in the market and identified areas for improvement. This research informed the design strategy and helped me identify user needs, pain points, and goals.
[ step 2 ]
UX Design
Based on the research insights, I developed the user experience (UX) design for SiaSearch. I created wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to ensure that the design aligned with the user's needs and preferences. I also worked closely with the technical team to ensure that the design integrated seamlessly with the software's technical capabilities.
[ step 3 ]
UI Design/Marketing Design
In the visual design stage, I created the visual elements of SiaSearch, including the color palette, typography, components library and iconography. I ensured that the design was consistent with the brand identity and created a visual hierarchy to prioritize important information. I also conducted usability testing to ensure that the design was intuitive and user-friendly.
What we’ve built
[ Dashboard]
A general overview of the selected datasets that shows different statistics: Forward Acceleration, Daylight and Weather information, Sensor Data, Velocity and etc
[ Search]
Here, users can query the necessary clips and also apply advanced filters on the results
[ Detailed Clip information]
On this view, more detailed information on a certain clip is available, such as: objects on each frame, statistics on a clip level, clip geolocation and etc
[ Export ]
Export View is a final overview over the datasets to be exported

[ Submit Data]
Here, the Variant Scientist starts the analysis by submitting the necessary data like Patient's personal Data, Symptoms and also Patient's parents' data when necessary.
